Based in a small town in France, near to Switzerland’s Geneva, ‘Theatre Someone’, is a fully-fledged Association. It grew out of conversations between like-minded theatre enthusiasts who were interested in using their various talents to present small,  innovative productions simply staged in interesting venues.

These led to a production of  Someone Who’ll Watch Over Me by Frank McGuiness in October 2009.

Staged in-the-round, it was ‘toured’ to various intimate venues in Geneva and neighbouring France. The very positive response from the audiences encouraged us to continue. Since then we have created & performed Jane Austen invites…. and staged Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett as well as arranginging a concert in Divonne by the Chamber Choir of Kaluga from Russia  in conjunction with the Commune de Divonne.

Coming next in the autumn 2012…….

Remember Jane Austen invites….? Well, watch out for news of our exciting new project, an original play devised & written by the same authors, Lesley Sherwood & Susan Leather. All details later.
